Hi

My wife H1B was approved under Consular Processing. She got job offer now and it is a Consulting job to Hire. We applied COS at CSC by Premium processing. Reached application on Sep 28 and Status is Acceptance by then.

1 ) Everything is genuine and in the client letter it is mentioned as 6 Months contract to hire. Are there any posibbilities of getting H1B approved for only 6 months from now.

2 ) Are there any chances of rejection

3) Sincle past week it is under "Acceptance" stage. I know i have to be patient.

4) Can we expect some decision from them this week as client is waiting.

5) At what time CSC updates the case. Is there any particular time they update the case online.

Hi,

I had visited US for 6months in 2005 on H1B visa and currently my H1B is expired( Expired in Jun 2007). Now, I am in US on H4 visa. Can anyone please let me know is it possible to renew expired H1B now? If so, what is the procedure for the same?

Its ok to have permanent address on 485 application and different address on AR-11.
You can submit AR-11 for your change of address and don�t change address on 485 application.

I am saying so because I did call USCIS and confirmed this. But you better call them and ask one more time for your satisfaction

Then he went to Canada for higher studies. He holds Canada PR.

I am in US. If I apply for his I 130, would there be probem him visiting US on B2 Visa.

This is probably a silly question but I have this really nice logo
designed in photoshop that I want to use in flash but the problem is that everytime that I import this picture to flash I get that white background the picture was saved with.

You must bring proof of identity and any notices that you have received from USCIS in connection with your application for employment authorization.

Any advantage of opening an account on USCIS website to receive automatic case status updates? or I don't need to do that if I keep checking the status online by myself?

They send you and email if something changes, nice if you have a Blackberry/pda

If you have multiple cases i-129, i-131, i-140, i-485 you can see them all on one page, I find that easier to see LUDs in particular the "soft" non-action ones, but it's nice to know the file was touched.
