    I liked the father & son pic too. Some crop will help to emphasize the icy feel too. It's got a happier feel than the others IMHO... We're all our worst critics, so keep your camera and keep shooting ;)

    Its nice to see teachers on this forum. I came on H1 through the company GTRR. You can get their contact number from their site.I wanted to ask Sirvi that how about working with an NGO. Did you file your GC under EB2. I filed mine under EB3. Please tell me something about it.
    If someone knows regarding more sponsors for teachers let me know. I know some school systems in and around Georgia sponsor directly.

    I am not trying to be rude. but really we should use some common sense. If you are visiting another state within US why would you need a visa? If you are still not sure check with the cruise ship customer service.

    All i am trying to say is do not post a question until you have put some effort to get your answer by yourself.

    By "have not run payroll since last 6 months," if you mean you were on "bench", then you are already out of status. You have more important things to worry about than your I-140 denial, like making sure you have a job, and you're getting paid!

    I'm sure you already know, but I'm going to say it again anyway - if you are here on H-1B, then you need to be working, and getting paid for it. There is no such thing as "bench" time.

    You must be working for one of those bodyshops that don't pay you when you're not on a project. If you did not have projects, your employer should have still paid your salary, or terminated your employment. Find out from your employer if he has sent a H-1B cancellation request to USCIS. Finally, get your employer to pay you for the 6 months. If he refuses, then file a complaint with DOL.

    Hi,
    I just came to know from uscis website that my I140 is denied. I have not received any documents from uscis as my name is in beneficiary. It will goto my employer. Than If he respond than I will know.
    I am currently on 7th year of h1 extension and having 2 weeks left on my h1. (22 june 2009)
    Not on project rightnow and have not run payroll since last 6 months.
    My employer is not responding to any of my emails and phone calls since 1 month.

    GC Filed: march 2005 in traditional process (not in PERM) EB3
    Labor approved : june 2006
    I140 filed: Nov 2007 - Denied end of may 2009.

    1) What are my options ?
    2) Can I use my current approved labor to get extension in new company after h1 transfer?
    3) If I transfer my h1 to another company, what about next year h1 extension? if company does not file GC at the time of h1 transfer. does 365 days rule apply in that ?

    DUDES,

    I appreciete your's feedback....but my PD is current as of now ( again it may retrogess in future...who Knows....) and please note I am not using subsititution labor approvals...

    Do you still think converting I140 to premium processing would be worthwhile and would expediete whole process including I485.......

    I recently renewed my license in Oklahoma and was surprised to find out that on top of shorter expiration date, now my license has �TEMPORARY� written across it. This is new rule that OK is applying for non-residents and non-citizens. Has any body else gone thru similar experience? I am outraged that now I will be discriminated every where. DL is used on day to day basis and every body will question me, suspect me as to why �TEMPORARY� is written on my DL. Even DL office was not sure when this new rule was implemented, how come police officers, general public will know about it. I feel ashamed to even show my DL now. I�ll get hard time getting loans etc b/c people will think I may move out any time as I am here �Temporarily�

    Is it only Oklahoma or other states are doing the same? See the link below from official DPS link for sample of DL.

    Why dont you check with attorney and take them to court. Just getting/being angry wont help.

    Hi:
    I filed on July 23, I-140 and 485 concurrent.
    I got EAD on 5th Oct.
    I had fingerpring done on OCT12.
    Whne Fingerprinting was done, with 2 of my fingers, it gave message
    Warning !!!!!!!! Matched (with RED color) . Rest all fingers, it displayed passed with Green color.
    Does it mean it matches with some kind of FBI database and Do I need to worry about it?

    Please help gurus. I have lost my sleep.

    I believe if your H1 expires before your I-140 approval and your PD is less than 365 days you will not get 1 year extension. If I-140 premium process reinstates that is only chance otherwise you have to take vaccation and come back.

    Sundar - I understand ur question..I ve seen in many forums that employers can revoke ur I-140 before ur I-485 is approved. When you transfer with ur approved I-140 from ur previous employer and lets say that he has already revoked it..I am not sure what will happen the..just wanted to confirm...

    the more important part of my question is...

    "using approved 140 from an EX-employer" and using that to a get 3 yr extension when doing a h1b transfer to a new employer (who has not in anyway started a new perm labor)

    Our checks didn't get cashed , neither we Got Receipt Notice .

    The CSR told that we tracked that this is your 2nd call in 10 days - Is the reason of this call same or different. If the reason is same - Pl dont make a 3rd call before 60 days from July 2nd :eek:

    Doesn't it gives the real status - what more we want ??

    This is a hard call. I would probably wait for the EAD before deciding which one to cancel. you might be canceling one that is about to send you your EAD. It is risky.
